How to Get RekindleIT.
Getting RekindleIT is super easy. All you need to do is:
Own a Kindle
Sorry, but there's no way around this one. If you don't have a Kindle, get one here.
Decide How You Want To Use It
There are two ways to use RekindleIT:
Wireless Delivery Using Amazon's Wispernet In this mode, files sent to you via RekindleIT are sent to you wirelessly over the internet, right to your Kindle. Amazon charges you .15/MB for this feature. Most articles on the internet are very small, so it basically works out to about .15 per article.
Free Email Delivery In this mode, files sent to you via RekindleIT are sent to you are sent through Amazon's free conversion service. They are delivered to you via email and you must then transfer them to your Kindle via USB. Not as nice, but free.
No matter which method you use, you will have to know your Kindle's email address. The email address looks like yourname@kindle.com or yourname@free.kindle.com. To find your Kindle's email address, click here
Let Us Send You Documents
Before we can send you documents, you must add readit@rekindle.it to your authorized senders list in the "Manage your Kindle" screen. Click here to be taken to your Kindle's settings page.
Install RekindleIT in Your Browser
To install RekindleIT, simply drag the link below into your browser's toolbar and rename it if you want. If you're using an iPhone just press and hold the link and select "Bookmark Link." Internet Explorer users, right-click, and select "Add to Favorites."
Use It!
To RekindleIT, simply click the new bookmark you just created. That's it!
Some Tips- For best results, Rekindle only "Printer Friendly" version of webpages.
- Really complex documents tend not to work well with RekindleIT.
- Only Rekindle HTML files. Don't use RekindleIT on PDF documents...yet
